This list of the top 10 holiday proposal ideas is sure to impress the woman you love. Creative holiday proposals are the best way to ensure that this season will be one you will not soon forget.

1. On Christmas Eve or Christmas morning when everyone is gathered in your home, arrange for Santa to come by with a small gift. You can either have a friend dress up as Santa or hire a service to knock on the door and announce that they have a gift for your fiance.

2. If you are good on the computer, compile a slide show of photos of the two of you. Explain that this is a present you created just for her and the last slide should say, "Will you marry me?"

3. Buy a plain puzzle or a holiday themed puzzle that is fairly bland. Write out the phrase will you marry me and then have her put the puzzle together.

4. Use holiday lights and assemble them on the outside of your home or on a board. Plug them in and watch her grin from ear to ear.

5. Hide the tiny ring box behind the tree where no one can see it. When everyone has finished opening their presents, tell your love that she forgot to open one. Tell her to reach further back behind the tree and bask in her shock and amazement.

6. Get four boxes that go from big to small and then start by wrapping the ring box in the smallest one and then keep re-boxing until you get to the largest. Your girlfriend will be caught off guard and she will never suspect that the huge box for her under the tree is an engagement ring. Many people have told me that they love this one and that it should be first on the list of the top 10 holiday proposal ideas.

7. Have a group of carolers come to your house and sing a Christmas song, when they are half way through the song, have them ask in unison, will you marry me? Of all the creative holiday proposal ideas, this is my personal favorite.

8. Rent her favorite holiday movie from the video store and make a huge bowl of popcorn. Place the ring box at the bottom of the bowl and when she sees it she will be giddy with excitement.

9. Give her odd presents that hint at what is to come such as, hand lotion, jewelry cleaner, a gift card to her favorite nail salon, etc. and then pull out the engagement ring.

10. Throw a Christmas Eve or New Years Eve party and invite all of your close friends and family. Surprise your girlfriend and all of your guests with a romantic and unexpected proposal.

This is my list of the top 10 holiday proposal ideas and now its up to you to work some holiday magic!
